Hollywood actor Danny DeVito praises SS Rajamouli's ‘RRR’: ‘It was really good!’

Hollywood veteran actor Danny DeVito has expressed his love for Indian cinema in a recent interview with India Today.com.
The actor, who was in conversation with the portal about his forthcoming show 'Little Demon', went on to praise Bollywood and mentioned that he recently watched 'RRR' and 'R... Rajkumar'. 

He said he's a huge Bollywood fan, unaware that Telugu cinema is different from Bollywood. 
Danny told India Today that he loves the fact that Bollywood keeps its stories intact. Citing the example of SS Rajamouli's 'RRR', he stated that the film is about the battles between everybody but they keep up the story even in the singing.

He said, ‘Oh, I love Bollywood big time. In fact, as a matter of fact, a few days back, I watched RRR and another one R... Rajkumar, it was really good! I think if I had my way next season or whenever I could talk everybody into it, we should definitely bust into a big number.’

‘It will be amazing to see people in the realms doing the moves. But also, what I love about Bollywood is it keeps the story intact. If it's a love story, then the two romantic leads will be seen going at it. Like in RRR, it's about the battles between everybody but they keep up the story even in the singing. And I love that aspect of it. I think it's great, he added.

Hollywood actor Danny DeVito is known for his performances in films like ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest’, ‘Batman Returns’, ‘L.A. Confidential’ among others. The actor will soon be heard voicing Satan in the adult animated sitcom ‘Little Demon’. 

Talking about the film, ‘RRR’ is a period, fictional film based on the lives of freedom fighters. The film starred Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles. The film has reportedly done a collection of ₹1,200 crores at the global box office. The Hindi version of the film premiered on Netflix on May 20 and became the most popular movie in India on the OTT platform globally.
