After Matthew Perry’s tragic death, it was claimed by multiple reports that his ‘Friends’ co-star Lisa Kudrow is planning to adopt his dog, Alfred. Now, a recent report has established that the actor did not own a dog at the time of his death.
Matthew Perry, who was a dog lover, shared a dog with his ex-fiance, Molly Hurwitz. The duo was reported to be dating in 2018 and they parted ways in June 2021. After their break-up, Alfred has been living with Hurwitz as she keeps posting pictures with him on Instagram.
In one of her recent posts, she shared Alfred's photo with the caption, ‘Alfred is three. He is very annoying a lot of the time, but he is truly the most loving potato. He entered my life during some dark depression, and he helped get me far away from that. He is also cute as all fuck. Cheers to you, Alfredo.’
Lisa Kudrow, along with other cast members of ‘Friends’ - Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer - shared a joint statement on Matthew Perry’s death.
‘We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family,’ their statement read.
‘There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss,’ the statement continued.
