Despite ongoing divorce rumours, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck seem to be maintaining an amicable relationship.
While promoting ‘Small Things Like These’, a project he produced, Affleck also spoke about another film, ‘Unstoppable’, which features Lopez alongside Don Cheadle, Jharrel Jerome, and Bobby Cannavale.
Affleck described Unstoppable as ‘very different’ from Small Things Like These, but noted that both films are deeply rooted in the passion of talented artists.
‘Billy Goldenberg and Jennifer and Don Cheadle and Jharrel [Jerome], and Bobby Cannavale, all were really passionate about this film,’ Affleck told Entertainment Tonight.
He also had glowing praise for Lopez’s performance, calling her ‘spectacular.’
‘We believed in the right people, and Unstoppable is another example of that,’ he said, showcasing his admiration for his ex-wife's talent and dedication to the project.
Lopez, for her part, returned the compliment when asked about the film.
In an interview at the Unstoppable U.K. premiere on November 5, she praised the entire cast and crew, calling everyone involved ‘spectacular and wonderful.’ This mutual respect between the two is a testament to their continued professional camaraderie, even after their separation.

‘Unstoppable’ is based on the true story of wrestler Anthony Robles, who, born with one leg, went on to win a national championship in 2011. Set to hit theaters on December 6, it will stream on Prime Video starting January 16, 2024.
More about Affleck and JLo
Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August 2024, just two years after their 2022 wedding, marking the end of their second marriage for him and her fourth.
Reports had suggested the couple had been living apart before Lopez cancelled her summer tour to focus on family, and the couple put their Beverly Hills home on the market.
Through it all, both stars continue to support each other’s work, proving that even as they navigate personal challenges, their professional respect remains strong.
