Actor Jeremy Renner, who suffered serious injuries while ploughing snow on New Year's Day, shared an update from hospital on Wednesday. He posted a photo and informed his fans about his current condition.
Jeremy took to Instagram and posted a selfie from the hospital captioned, "Thank you all for your kind words. I'm too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all."
In the picture, Jeremy can be seen lying on a hospital bed in the ICU as he takes a selfie. The left side of his face has bruises.
Many fans and celebrities reacted to the post. His 'Avengers' co-star Chris Patt wrote, "Continued prayers your way brutha (red heart emoji)." Chris Hemsworth commented, "Speedy recovery buddy. Sending love your way."
Earlier, Jeremy's family issued a statement confirming that the actor underwent surgery after his snow ploughing accident. The statement said, "We can confirm that Jeremy has suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and has undergone surgery today, January 2nd 2023. He has returned from surgery and remains in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition."
