Jin, the eldest member of BTS, has shared details about his 30th birthday, which is on December 4. He took to global fandom platform Weverse on Saturday and answered numerous questions. Jin also revealed that he will be at the 'front line' on his birthday, hinting at his military service.

A fan had asked Jin if he was excited about his birthday, to which the vocalist replied that he would be on the front lines by then, and wouldn’t be able to celebrate with his fans like he usually does. This left the ARMY heartbroken. One fan wrote, ‘I forgot that he was going, considering he’s been busy with so many things lately,’ while another added, ‘It hurts to hear it coming from him…’

A fan had shared Jin’s shirtless photo, where his ‘7’ tattoo could be seen, and the vocalist requested not to share stuff like this, but instead focus on his face. His reply brought smiles to ARMY.

Jin performed his latest single ‘Astronaut’ with Coldplay last month and got a chance to bid ARMY goodbye in person. BTS agency BigHit Music announced the group members' mandatory military service in October, putting an end to a debate about whether they should be exempt from the mandatory service requirement of about two years.

The popular Korean group, BTS, hopes to reconvene by 2025.
