'Jurassic World Dominion,' directed by Colin Trevorrow, is all set to release in theatres on Friday (June 10). The film, which is a sequel to 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018), marks the conclusion to the 'Jurassic World' trilogy. It is the sixth and reportedly the final film in the franchise.

Cast
Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard return as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing. Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sam Neill, who featured in the original 1993 film, will reprise their roles as Dr. Ellie Sattler, Dr. Ian Malcolm and Dr, Alann Grant, respectively.
Plot
The story picks up from the previous two films in the series - Jurassic World (2015) and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018). 'Jurassic World Dominion' takes place four years after the destruction of Isla Nublar, an island which was the site of the adventurous tourist park, Jurassic World. The dinosaurs have now taken over the planet as the dominant species.

A twist in tale
This is the first time human cloning has been performed in the film's franchise. It has been revealed that Maisie, Owen and Claire's adopted daughter, is a clone of Benjamin Lockwood's deceased daughter.
For the unversed, Benjamin was the former partner of industrialist John Hammond, who created a theme park of cloned dinosaurs.

The film has a run time of 2 hours and 26 minutes, the longest of any film in the franchise.
