Former NSYNC member Justin Timberlake has been arrested for driving while intoxicated in the Hamptons. According to a GMA report, the arrest occurred on June 17 in Sag Harbor, New York. The pop star will soon be produced before a court. The shocking news comes ahead of his two concerts in Chicago this weekend and two shows in New York City next week.
A TMZ report revealed that Justin went to meet friends at a hotel Monday night in Sag Harbor for dinner. Around midnight, he got into his car to drive back to his accommodation in the city, the report stated, before adding that he was immediately pulled over by the cops for driving under the influence. The singer has been taken into custody. Nobody was hurt during the incident, the report added.
Timberlake is currently on his 'Forget Tomorrow' World Tour to support his latest album, 'Everything I Thought It Was'. He is next scheduled to play Chicago's United Center on June 21 and June 22. He is slated to perform in New York's Madison Square Garden on Jue 25 and June 26.
