Keith Urban left everyone in the audience stunned as he made a big confession about his 18-year-long marriage. The singer almost broke down as he admitted in front of Hollywood A-listers that he almost blew his marriage with Nicole Kidman once. The 56-year-old Australian country singer was presenting at the AFI Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to Nicole Kidman when he made this huge confession.

Keith Urban’s shocking confession

At a grand ceremony held in Los Angeles on April 26, which was broadcast this week, Nicole Kidman’s husband and singer Keith Urban made a shocking revelation. He said, “We got married in 2006, and barely four months into our marriage, the addictions that I had done really nothing about blew our marriage to smithereens,” before adding “Four months into a marriage, and I’m in rehab for three months with no idea what was going to happen to us.”

Urban said that he was struggling with addiction when he first met his wife, Nicole, however, he pulled through with her support. The singer got emotional and credited his wife for standing by him in this difficult time. “Nic pushed through every negative voice- I'm sure even some of her own- and she chose love,” he said. Keith went on to praise his wife, saying that ‘she has the capacity to love like no one I’ve ever met.’
Nicole was seen getting teary-eyed as she heard her husband’s heartwarming speech. She wiped tears while sitting in the audience.
