Kelly Rowland has been grabbing headlines after her heated moment with a security guard on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival went viral.  The actor-singer, who attended the premiere of 'Marcello Mio' on May 21,  was seen being escorted by a female security guard on the way inside the venue. However, as she climbed her way up the famous stairs, she appeared to engage in a verbal dispute with the security personnel.

Kelly loses calm at a security guard

Looking visibly distraught, Kelly Rowland was seen scolding a security guard who held up her arm to guide her into the venue. Following this, the security guard frantically responded to Kelly; however, by now, the singer-actor had already lost her calm and continued with her condemnation as she climbed the rest of the stairs. The heated account, caught on camera, left everyone shocked and has now gone viral online.

What made Kelly furious?

According to a Daily Mail report, the tiff came about because staff members at the iconic French Festival were 'being aggressive' and Kelly had already 'had it' with them. The source added that the Hollywood star doesn't care if she comes across as a diva if she knows she is advocating for herself.

"The people who are assigned to helping stars walk the red carpet were being aggressive and Kelly was trying to ignore it," the report quoted the insider as saying.  It added, "By the time she got to the last woman she had had it because she scolded Kelly and told her to move when she was trying to wave to fans and help the paparazzi get their shot."
