Kim Kardashian, reality TV personality and actor, is all set to executive produce and star in a three-part documentary about Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, BBC Arts has commissioned production company Passion Pictures for the documentary, titled ‘Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar,’ highlighting the icon's journey from child star to the world's highest-paid actress.

Executive produced by Kari Lia, Hamish Fergusson, and Kim Kardashian, the series assures ‘privileged access to those who knew her best, including members of Elizabeth Taylor’s family, friends, and colleagues from throughout her stellar career.’

Elizabeth Taylor, known for her eight marriages, opulent jewelry, love life, and activism, was a Hollywood icon in the 1950s. The documentary will explore how she reshaped fame, broke Hollywood barriers, and evolved into a billion-dollar businesswoman, activist, and advocate.

Featuring interviews with Dr. Anthony Fauci, Kim Kardashian, and the late Joan Collins, it aims to showcase Taylor's unapologetic authenticity and resilience.

Kim Kardashian remarked, ‘Elizabeth Taylor was unapologetically herself, a fighter. She is proof that you can keep evolving and changing.’

‘Elizabeth Taylor was unapologetically herself, a fighter. She is proof that you can keep evolving and changing and have different chapters in your life – and she paved the way for all of us who came after her with that blueprint,’ Kim said.

BBC's Alistair Pegg anticipates the series offering a fresh perspective on Taylor's acting prowess and transformative abilities. ‘This exciting series promises a new understanding of Elizabeth Taylor – both her technique and power as an actor, and her capacity for reinventing herself,’ she said.

Hamish Fergusson, creative director and executive producer at Passion Pictures said, ‘Elizabeth developed and defined our understanding of stardom and celebrity across decades. A unique talent and true luminary, we’re hugely excited to explore her extraordinary life and enduring legacy.’
