Actor Lindsay Lohan and her husband, financier Bader Shammas welcomed their first child, a baby boy. The news was shared by ‘The Parent Trap’ star’s representative in a statement to The Associated Press on July 17.

The representative said the ‘family is over the moon in love’ with a ‘beautiful, healthy son’ named Luai.

According to PagSix, Lindsay Lohan gave birth in Dubai, where she lives with her husband. Her son’s exact birth date has not been released.

Luai is an Arabic name that means ‘shield’ or “protector.’

Lindsay Lohan announced her pregnancy in March 2023 with a photo on Instagram. The white onesie had ‘coming soon’ written on it.

Lindsay Lohan has been married to Bader Shammas since 2022.

On the work front, Lindsay Lohan returned to acting, starring last year in Netflix’s ‘Falling for Christmas’, and on the streaming service’s upcoming romantic comedy ‘Irish Wish’.

In an interview with Allure magazine, Lohan said she was thrilled about becoming a mother and opened up about balancing work and home life.

‘I can’t wait to see what the feeling is and what it’s like to just be a mom,” she said. “It’s overwhelming in a good way.” Lohan sought the guidance of her Freaky Friday co-star. 'I spoke to Jamie Lee Curtis recently, and she was like, ‘You just bring the baby with you and everything will be fine,’ she said.
