Malala Yousafzai, an inspiration to thousands of girls across the globe, lived out her wildest dream. The girls’ education activist attended Taylor Swift’s concert at Wembley stadium, calling it her ‘first-ever’ proper concert and shared some beautiful glimpses of her big moment.
Malala shared a series of pictures on Instagram from the concert. She shared her childhood story in the caption and wrote, “Having lived through a time where music and art were banned, music felt like a gift.”
Sharing her Swiftie story, Malala revealed how she performed ‘Love Story’ with her friend in Swat Valley on a field trip. She called her Taylor Swift concert experience magical. “It feels magical that my first-ever proper concert would be to see @TaylorSwift, singing along to every song surrounded by friends,” she wrote.
Malala mentioned the situation in Afghanistan and hoped to live in a world where every girl could freely enjoy music. All forms of entertainment, including music were banned by Taliban in Swat valley, where Malala spent her childhood.
