Noted filmmaker Martin Scorsese is reportedly helming a Frank Sinatra biopic, which will star Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence. A Variety report revealed that Scorsese wants to rope in Leonardo as the legendary singer, with JLaw potentially playing the role of his second wife, Ava Gardner. If reports turn out to be true, this would be the director's seventh collaboration with Leo. The duo last worked together on the acclaimed film 'Killers of the Flower Moon'.About

Frank Sinatra Biopic in works! 

As reported by Variety, Scorsese's upcoming film, touted as a biopic of Frank Sinatra, will depend on the singer's daughter Tina's approval. She has yet to give her the go-ahead for the project. If approved, the film will centre on the tumultuous marriage of Sinatra and Ava. 

Scorsese and Leo's collabs

One of Hollywood’s most successful actor-director duos, Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio, have previously worked together on six projects. Their former collaborations have resulted in cinematic gems such as 'Gangs of New York', 'The Aviator', 'The Departed', 'Shutter Island', and 'The Wolf of Wall Street'. Their latest joint venture, 'Killers of the Flower Moon', bagged 10 Academy Award nominations at the Oscars 2024.
