Jonathan Majors, who starred in 'Creed III' and 'Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantum', was arrested on Saturday in Manhattan on suspicion of strangulation, assault, and harassment. According to the authorities, the actor is accused of choking a 30-year-old woman during a domestic dispute.
The police responded to a 911 call and were notified that the actor was in an apartment near West 22nd Street and 8th Avenue in Chelsea at around 11:15 on Saturday morning. As per a statement by NYPD spokesperson, the woman complained to the police about being assaulted after sustaining minor injuries to her head and neck. She was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, the police added.
According to a TMZ report, the police were told that the woman was Jonathan's girlfriend and that they had gotten into a fight in a taxi on the way home from a bar in Brooklyn. The woman also had redness and marks on her face, as well as some injuries to her head and back, including a laceration behind her ear.
