Paris Hilton made her first Met Gala appearance in New York City on Monday night. She looked stunning in an off-the-shoulder, black leather glove-sleeve Marc Jacobs gown. She was escorted by the designer and her husband to the event.
This year's Met Gala honoured the late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. A day before attending the event, Paris paid tribute to the Chanel designer on Instagram, writing, ‘Karl has always been a fashion inspiration to me. Such an icon and innovator. Love that he is the theme of this years #MetGala.’
Paris Hilton, a model, and businesswoman, has had a successful career in the fashion world over the years, but she hasn't been to the Met Gala before. This milestone comes just months after she embraced motherhood. Paris announced in January that she and husband Carter Reum had welcomed their first baby together via surrogate.
Paris shared the news via an Instagram post alongside a photo of her son Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum's hand, and wrote, ‘You are already loved beyond words.’
Cardi B, Pedro Pascal, Kim Kardashian are among many other stars who have graced the red carpet at this year’s Met Gala.
