Ariana Grande not only returned to Met Gala after six years but also capped off the star-studded event with her 'Wicked' co-star Cynthia Erivo. For her performance, Grande slipped into a bespoke Maison Margiela Artisanal by John Galliano, making a dramatic change from her princess core look that she debuted on the green carpet.

The singer started off the surprise performance with Disney’s ''Once Upon a Dream,' (Nickelodeon look away), and followed the playlist with five of her own songs - 'Into You,' 'Seven Rings,' 'The Boy Is Mine,' 'We Can’t Be Friends,' and 'Yes, And'. For the curtain closer, she was joined by Cynthia for a cover of 'When You Believe'. Though her boyfriend Ethan Slater was not in attendance, Ariana was nonetheless in good company as she was joined by 40 broadway musical artists for the choir.

Grande's Met Gala return

Ariana Grande has officially returned to the Met Gala red carpet. The '7 Rings' singer stepped out in effervescent fashion for the 2024 Met Gala in New York City. Acing this year's theme 'Garden of Time' dress code, the actor stunned in an ethereal white gown by Loewe featuring a mother-of-pearl bodice and long chiffon skirt.

Ariana's film 'Wicked' is slated to release in theatres on November 27, 2024.
