Vanessa Hudgens, known for her role in ‘Princess Switch’, graced the Oscars red carpet and announced her pregnancy with MLB shortstop Cole Tucker.

For the event, Vanessa donned a form-fitting black gown.

The floor-length black Vera Wang Couture gown featured long sleeves, a mock turtleneck, and a flowing skirt. Her figure-hugging attire accentuated her pregnancy, and she tenderly cradled her bump for emphasis. Adorned with rings on her fingers, she accessorized with a Chopard necklace adorned with yellow and white diamonds, as well as earrings from their Haute Joailler collection. With her long black hair swept up elegantly, she sported a smokey eye complemented by a red lip.

On the grand evening, Hudgens was selected to co-host ABC's Countdown to Oscars: On the Red Carpet Live! at the Dolby Theatre. This is her third consecutive year hosting the pre-show. This year she’s joined by Julianne Hough. The 30-minute special, executive produced by David Chamberlin, highlights Oscar nominees, performers and presenters, and red-carpet arrivals.

Hudgens and Tucker tied the knot last December in Tulum, Mexico, following three years of relationship. They initially crossed paths in 2020.

Sharing insights into her wedding, she spoke to Vogue in December, recounting the ceremony held at the Azulik City of Arts museum, nestled ‘45 minutes into the jungle.’

‘I knew that it was our place,’ she explained.

‘I felt like I was transported to some kind of utopia, unlike anything I had ever been to before. It was whimsical and magical, and I just fell in love,’ she said.

Hudgens discussed having children before in an interview with Nylon, saying, ‘I always thought I would be married at 25, because that’s when my mom got married, and then when that didn’t happen, I was like, ‘Oh, OK. So we’re just going to shift everything back a bit.’ I always thought that around 36, 37 is when I would want to have kids, and that still plays. I don’t feel panicked about it.’
