Singer Katy Perry set the stage on fire at the star-studded coronation concert in Windsor, England, on Sunday. She entertained 20,000 guests as she crooned several of her hit songs including ‘Roar’ and ‘Firework’, and dedicated them to King Charles III. ‘Thank you for bringing out the firework in so many young people,’ she said.
Princess Charlotte, daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton, sang along with Katy and was also seen waving the UK flag along with the audience.
Several netizens have reacted to a video that shows Princess Charlotte singing along with Katy. A fan wrote, ‘My favourite bit of the whole evening.’ One more wrote, ‘She’s trying to keep up with the faster tempo.’
A day before the concert, Katy Perry attended the coronation ceremony of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. She made headlines as videos of her struggling to find her seat at the venue went viral. Reacting to the videos, she later tweeted, ‘Don't worry guys I found my seat.’
Lionel Richie also performed ‘All Night Long’ on stage and Sonam Kapoor delivered a spoken word performance as she introduced various choir performers of the Commonwealth at the event.
