Hollywood star Robert De Niro recently welcomed his seventh child. While promoting his upcoming film 'About My Father', the Oscar-winning actor opened up about parenthood.
Speaking with ET Canada, he said, ‘I mean, there's no way around it with kids. I don't like to have to lay down the law and stuff like that. But, [sometimes] you just have no choice.’
‘And any parent, I think, would say the same thing. You always want to do the right thing by the children and give them the benefit of the doubt but sometimes you can't,’ he added.
When the interviewer asked about his six children, he corrected, ‘Seven, actually. I just had a baby.’
Robert De Niro's representative also confirmed the news.
The actor already has six children. According to People magazine, he and his first wife, Diahnne Abbott, are parents to daughter Drena and son Raphael. In 1995, he welcomed twin sons Julian and Aaron with his former girlfriend-actor Toukie Smith. Robert also shares son Elliot and daughter Helen Grace with his former wife, Grace Hightower.
