Ryan Reynolds has reignited Taylor Swift cameo rumours in 'Deadpool & Wolverine' with his latest post. The film, also starring Hugh Jackman, is slated to hit theatres July 26. Ever since it was announced, rumours have been rife that Swift will make her MCU debut with the superhero film. Recently, makers clarified that the pop star has no connection with the film but Reynolds' latest post with an 'Evermore' twist has fans pinning their hopes once again.

Reynolds took to his Instagram story to post a photo of his "Merc With a Mouth" sporting a familiar pose, with his back turned to a forest. Swifties were quick to figure out that the actor replicated the cover of Swift's 2020 studio album 'Everymore'. To make it more obvious, Reynolds added the LP's title track featuring Bon Iver as background music.

The actor has previously opened up about Taylor Swift's cameo in the film. In 2022, Reynolds said he was game to having Swift appear in the Marvel film. Reynolds said that he would like her to appear in the upcoming movie adding, “Are you kidding me? I would do anything for that woman. She’s a genius.”

For the unversed, Taylor Swift and Ryan Reynolds share a close-knit bond, thanks to his wife Blake Lively's friendship with the pop star. Last month, the 'Deadpool' actor and the 'Gossip Girl' alum shared a romantic moment during the second night of Swift's Eras Tour shows in Madrid. The couple were joined by daughters Betty, 4, Inez, 7, and James, 9, at the show, with the family being seen dancing together in a clip shared on X (formerly known as Twitter).
