American rapper-actor Snoop Dogg shared a cryptic post announcing that he is ‘giving up smoke’.
In a statement on Instagram, Dogg wrote, ‘After much consideration and conversation with my family. I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time.’
This message was conveyed with a picture where he can be seen folding his hands.
It remains unclear as of now if Snoop is quitting his infamous weed habit, or if he’s pointing to something else.
Snoop Dogg’s post went viral immediately and garnered tons of reactions.
Many fans have expressed their concern over the rapper’s health.
‘1 year 4 months for me and it was the best decision I ever made in my entire life to stop smoking. Also the hardest. Some just won’t understand… it’s not until you completely eliminate it from your life that you realize how much better off you are without it,’ commented an Instagram user.
Another person wrote, ‘I respect his decision so much, but this is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen I’m gonna remember this forever.’
‘We’ve got large non smoking suites and all the privacy you could want,’ commented another person.
Previously, Snoop talked about smoking 81 blunts each day. He revealed to Jimmy Kimmel in January that he tried to quit weed 20 years ago, but he couldn’t.
In March, he claimed that he would cut down on his THC intake.
‘Being a grandfather has changed me in multiple ways. The main way is being concerned with how I live, how I move, the kind of people I’m associated with, because I want to see my grandkids grow old. The only way I can do that is to take precautionary steps as far as how I move, who I hang out with, where I go out, my intake, what am I intaking? … I just don’t want to do this to my body anymore. I want to survive,’ he said.
