Swift has now joined Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Oprah Winfrey, and Star Wars creator George Lucas, among others. There were a record 2,781 billionaires in 2024, per Forbes.

Forbes credited Swift's phenomenal success on her ground-breaking Eras Tour for her newfound status. “Her estimated $190 million post-tax earnings from her historic Eras Tour helped boost the country-and-pop musician into the three-comma club—the first person to do it based solely on songwriting and performing,” Forbes reported.
