When the biggest musical acts in Hollywood come together for the Grammy Awards, the result is nothing short of magic. From Lady Gaga's ‘egg-scapades’ to Jennifer Lopez's belly-button-baring dress to Michael Jackson taking his sunglasses off, here's a look at some of the most memorable Grammy's performances, gaffes, and speeches to grace (or disgrace) the stage.

When James Corden gave puppies as a consolation prize (2018)

When James Corden gave Dave Chapelle the award for ‘Best Comedy Album’ in 2018, he also gave a consolation prize to all the other nominees (Jerry Seinfeld, Sarah Silverman, and Jim Gaffigan). James gave them adorable lil puppies, for which he was later criticised.

Beyoncé’s balancing act (2017)

Beyoncé returned to the Grammys stage with her baby bump glory after receiving as many as nine nominations at the 2017 ceremony. She performed 'Love Drought' and 'Sandcastles' all while balancing on a tilted chair. Even though she won two Grammys, it was her spellbinding performance which stole the show.

Twenty-One pilots accept their award without pants (2017)

Twenty-One Pilots made a show of removing their tuxedo pants before accepting their award at the 2017 Grammys. They even revealed a story where they used to watch the Grammys in their underwear and had ‘revealed’ (no pun intended!) that if they ever go to the Grammys or ever win a Grammy, they will receive it like this. And they, literally did it.

Who came first: The Lady Or The Egg (2011)

Lady Gaga walked the red carpet inside a massive egg, and she slayed her look. She took the stage to perform 'Born This Way,' and went on to win three Grammys. She later told American television host Jay Leno that she stayed in the temperature-controlled egg for three days!

Greatest of ease (2010)

Singer P!nk performed at the 2010 and the 2014 Grammys on aerial silks, flying, twisting, splitting, and spinning through the air, and maintained perfect pitch both times. Why? Because she's Pink… and she can ace her skills.

That dress (2000)

Jennifer Lopez's green Versace silk-chiffon gown remains as one of the most memorable Grammy costumes of all time. That year, her song 'Waiting for Tonight' was nominated for ‘Best Dance Recording’.

When Eminem and Elton John performed together (2001)

When Eminem released 'The Marshall Mathers LP' in 2000, he was instantly criticized for his 'homophobic' lyrics, most notably by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD). Later, Elton John performed alongside the rapper in Dido's place, effectively silencing everyone.
