Suri Cruise, daughter of Hollywood stars Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, recently celebrated a significant milestone as she graduated from LaGuardia High School. The 18-year-old celebrated the occasion along with her mother, Katie, as they posed for photos in New York City on June 21. 

Suri drops her last name

Suri, clad in a white dress under her graduation robe, opted to go by 'Suri Noelle' at the ceremony, hinting a departure from her last name 'Cruise', as reported by Page Six. The graduation event showcased Suri's achievement and her evolving independence, symbolised by her name change.

While the reason behind her decision remains unclear, it underlines her journey into adulthood separate from her father.

Tom Cruise skipped Suri's graduation

The 'Mission Impossible' actor, Tom Cruise gave it a skip and instead attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in London. He was seen interacting with Swifties and jamming with Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce. He has kept a low profile in Suri's life post-divorce.
