Travis Scott arrested at Miami beach over intoxication and trespassing charges

Travis Scott has been arrested in Miami for allegedly being drunk in public and trespassing. The 33-year-old's arrest comes reportedly after an incident aboard a charter boat in Miami harbor.  

Travis Scott arrested 

The rapper was taken into custody at the Miami beach early Thursday and booked for trespassing and disorderly intoxication, according to the Miami Beach Police public information.  

The rapper was later reportedly released on bond after paying $500 and $150 on the charges respectively as per reports. 

Details of the incident

Scott was reportedly on a charter boat and got into an argument with the boat’s crew. Police, who were called to the scene, asked the rapper to leave. Scott reportedly left only to return and caused a ruckus again. He was asked to leave once again. The rapper, however, refused to comply, leading to his arrest. A local news station, WSVN News quoted a source as saying, “He was drunk, causing a disturbance and asked to leave multiple times.”

The Grammy nominated rapper, Travis Scott is not new to controversies. The American rapper faced massive backlash and multiple lawsuits after ten people died and several were injured at a stampede during his concert in 2021. 

On professional front, the rapper is currently on a break and will resume his ‘Circus Maximum’ tour on June 28 in the Netherlands. The tour is to celebrate and support his first album n five years, ‘Utopia’.
