Jr NTR mobbed by fans as he arrives in Hyderabad after Oscar win, says 'I feel proud’

Superstar Jr NTR and choreographer Prem Rakshith returned to Hyderabad on March 15 after attending the 95th Academy Awards in Los Angeles, where their blockbuster film ‘RRR’ bagged the Oscar for Best Original Song for ‘Naatu Naatu’.

Tarak was seen making his way out of the airport with his wife Lakshmi Pranathi. A sea of fans welcomed the star and congratulated him on the Oscar win. The actor stood atop his car and waved at fans as they cheered for him with banners and flags.

Speaking to the reporters outside the airport, Jr NTR said that he felt very proud and thanked every Indian for supporting them. Choreographer Prem thanked everyone who loved and celebrated ‘RRR’ and the viral ‘Naatu Naatu’ song.

Jr NTR said, ‘Seeing MM Keeravaani and Chandrabose accepting the Oscar was the best moment. I feel very proud of RRR. I want to thank every Indian for encouraging and celebrating RRR. This award that we have won is possible only with the love of the fans and the film industry.’

‘RRR’, directed by SS Rajamouli, is a fictional period drama about two Telugu revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. The film also stars Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Alison Doody, Olivia Morris, and Ray Stevenson in the supporting cast.
