‘Kalki 2898 AD’: Varun Dhawan reviews Nag Ashwin-Prabhas' film; says ‘every frame is to marvel at’

Prabhas starrer ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has set the box office on fire, surpassing Rs 500 crores worldwide in just four days. The film has been receiving positive reviews from the audience and critics alike. Now, actor Varun Dhawan reviewed the Nag Ashwin directorial on social media. While sharing his review, he tagged Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan.

‘Kalki is everything we've dreamed of in Indian Cinema! Every frame is a marvel – what you've achieved is pure magic and madness. Thank you for this incredible experience in #Kalki2898AD,’ he wrote.

The producers replied to Varun’s tweet by thanking him. ‘We’re overjoyed by your love for #Kalki2898AD! Thank you @Varun_dvn ji for your heartfelt words,’ they said.

The epic sci-fi film, released in Telugu and four other languages, draws heavy inspiration from the Mahabharata. Set in a dystopian future, it centers around four characters: Sumathi (Deepika Padukone), a pregnant woman believed to carry Vishnu's 10th avatar; Ashwatthama (Amitabh Bachchan), tasked with protecting the unborn child; Supreme Yaskin (Kamal Haasan), a ruthless villain seeking the child's demise; and Bhairava (Prabhas), a bounty hunter driven by profit.

The film has captivated audiences, sparking discussions about Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 online.

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ made box office history, becoming the third biggest opener in Indian cinema with a massive global opening day collection of Rs 191 crore. Surpassing records set by films like ‘KGF 2’ (Rs 159 crore), ‘Salaar’ (Rs 158 crore), ‘Leo’ (Rs 142.75 crore), ‘Sahoo’ (Rs 130 crore), and ‘Jawan’ (Rs 129 crore), it stands behind ‘RRR’, the top Indian opener with Rs 223 crore, and ‘Baahubali 2’, which grossed over Rs 217 crore on its opening day.
