A special screening of Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor starrer ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’ was held in Mumbai on May 27. The event was a star-studded affair with Karan Johar, Boney Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, and Angad Bedi in attendance.

At the event, Jahnvi, the lead star, dazzled in a blue bodysuit, with ‘Mahi 06’ printed on it.

Janhvi’s sister Khushi Kapoor was seen cheering for her at the event. She was spotted wearing a black dress. Her ‘Archies’ co-star and rumoured boyfriend Vedang Raina accompanied her. He looked dapper in a black collared t-shirt and blue denim.

Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina frequently make headlines over their rumoured relationship. If reports are to be believed, the duo fell in love while working together on Zoya Akhtar's 'The Archies,' which served as their debut project.

Earlier this month, Khushi and Vedang were spotted outside Zoya Akhtar's residence. A viral video showed them leaving the director's house in their car.

Others who attended the screening

Janhvi’s father Boney Kapoor, and sister, Anshula Kapoor, also came to show their support for her upcoming movie, where she co-stars with Rajkummar Rao.

Karan Johar and CEO of Dharma Productions, Apoorva Mehta also attended the screening.

‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’ has been creating a stir on social media ever since its trailer release. The movie, which focuses on a couple who share their passion for cricket, is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 31.

Janhvi, Kushi and Vedang’s work front

Vedang will share the screen space with Alia Bhatt in ‘Jigra’. The film will be released on September 27.

Meanwhile, Khushi Kapoor’s next project is ‘Naadaniyaan’ where she will be working with Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh.

Jahnvi Kapoor will next be seen in the South film, 'Devara'. The film, directed by Koratala Siva, will mark her debut in the Telugu film industry.
