BLACKPINK's Jennie recently left fans beaming with joy with her suprise appearance at a recent Billie Eilish event. The K-pop sensation sat down with the American pop star for a hearty chat during a private listening party for the latter's latest album, 'Hit Me Hard and Soft' in Seoul, South Korea.

Jennie turns host for Billie's event

On June 18, Billie Eilish hosted a private listening party for her recent album, 'Hit Me Hard and Soft' in Seoul. Fans were in for a sweet surprise during the event as Billie was soon joined by BLACKPINK member Jennie on the stage. For her appearance, the 'SOLO' crooner kept it casual in a white tee with shorts, a heavily accessorised black blazer, and black sneakers. She went with her signature dewy look, and tied her hair in a high pony, oozing major swag. Billie, meanwhile, oozed her unparalleled swag in a graphic off-white t-shirt, which she teamed with green cargo. She also wore a green head bandana.

Duo's fun banter goes viral

During the event, the two exchanged many heartwarming moments. Snippets of their silly banter have now taken the internet by storm. When the conversation shifted to Billie's newest album, she asked Jennie which song off her latest record she liked the most. Jennie instantly revealed 'Birds of a Feather' as her favourite track on 'Hit Me Hard and Soft', and then proceeded to ask her out for a meal. Billie soon thanked Jennie for taking time out from her busy schedule and gushed over her saying, “I love you, Jennie. Thank you for doing this.” Jennie then subtly hinted at her new album and asked the 'Therefore I Am' singer to interview her when her next album comes out.

Jennie and Billie reunite after 5 years

Jennie and Billie, both top-charting artists in their own right, go back a long way. The duo first connected during Coachella in 2019, and Jennie quickly announced her crush on the 'Blue' singer on Instagram. Their reunion after five years has sent fans into a nostalgic trip, with fans revisiting their rookie days.
