BLACKPINK's Lisa drops quirky 'Rockstar' MV teaser; BLINKS swoon over her fiery new look

Lalisa, more popularly known as Lisa, is coming back with new music. The BLACKPINK singer has released the teaser of her new song 'Rockstar' slated to be released on June 28 at 5:30 am IST. The Thai rapper first began teasing her new song earlier this month, launching her TikTok account with a post featuring what appeared to be a snippet of the track in a bold look. 

'Rockstar' teaser out now! 

Lisa has shared the first teaser of her comeback song, 'Rockstar', on her official YouTube channel 'LLOUD'.  The new track marks her return since the smash hit LALISA in 2021 with the lead track of the same name. The fun teaser begins with the lyrics "Baby I’m a rockstar," with Lisa redefining her superstar status in the global music sphere. Touted as unique, quirky, and bold, the music video showcases Lisa in a new avatar. '

About Lisa’s musical journey

Lisa announced the launch of her own label, LLOUD, on February 8 following her departure from YG Entertainment to pursue solo activities. She also signed a solo partnership with RCA Records for her new music releases. 

Lisa debuted in August 2016 as one of the four members of the South Korean girl group Blackpink. She later became a permanent cast member on the Korea Army Academy edition of the MBC military variety program Real Man 300 starting September 21, 2018. She is set to make her acting debut in ‘The White Lotus’ season 3, which is scheduled for release in early 2025
