BLACKPINK member Lisa has been making waves ever since she teased her new 'ROCKSTAR' era.  Following the massive success of 'ROCKSTAR', the K-pop star dropped a new single 'New Woman' feat Rosalia that has garnered a positive response from her fans, also known as Lillies. Now, the latest buzz has suggested that Lisa is preparing for her next big drop featuring Nicki Minaj. For the unversed,  the BLACKPINK member has been vocal about her love for the 'Anaconda' rapper and the recent rumours of collaboration have fans guessing that something big is on the cards. 

Lisa to collaborate with Nicki Minaj? 

The K-pop world has been set abuzz with rumours that Lisa and Nicki Minaj are set to come together for the former's next single. According to a K-media report, Lisa’s newly launched agency LLOUD reached out to Nicki Minaj’s label Republic Records in hopes of collaborating with the rapper. The report further added that the song will be a part of Lisa's second studio album, which will have 4 songs. Minaj will reportedly feature in the 4th song of the album. 

The report added that Lisa has been expressing her desire to collaborate with one of her biggest inspirations for a while now and her team finally agreed that the time was right. The song would also benefit Lisa to solidify her global presence. 

About Lisa’s musical journey

Lisa announced the launch of her own label, LLOUD, on February 8 following her departure from YG Entertainment to pursue solo activities. She also signed a solo partnership with RCA Records for her new music releases.

The rapper debuted in August 2016 as one of the four members of the South Korean girl group BLACKPINK. She later became a permanent cast member on the Korea Army Academy edition of the MBC military variety program Real Man 300 starting September 21, 2018. She is set to make her acting debut in ‘The White Lotus’ season 3, which is scheduled for release in early 2025.
