After Jin, now J-Hope has also started his military enlistment process. Big Hit confirmed the news via an official statement.

‘Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. We would like to inform our fans that J-hope has initiated the military enlistment process by applying for the termination of his enlistment postponement. We will inform you of further updates in due course. We ask you for your continued love and support for J-hope until he completes his military service and safely returns. Our company will spare no effort in providing support for our artist. Thank you.’

Jin took 18 months of mandatory military service at a front-line South Korean boot camp in December. According to reports, other BTS members will also join the military in the coming years one by one.

BTS’ members enlistment in the military has given rise to a debate over exemption of prominent entertainers like BTS  from miltary services.

‘J-Hope In the Box’ has recently started streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The documentary shows the popular star working for his first-ever solo album.
