Jimin’s first solo album, titled ‘Face’, is all set to release on March 24 and the BTS ARMY can’t contain their excitement.

Big Hit released a statement on Tuesday that read, ‘This is BIGHIT MUSIC. BTS member Jimin will be releasing his first solo album FACE. FACE is all about Jimin facing himself head-on as he gets ready for his next step as a solo artist. Jimin will see the fans through various activities including the FACE release, so we ask for your continued interest and support for Jimin’s first official solo activity.’

The first teaser of the album has also been shared. It opens with a drop of water falling into a black ocean, creating ripples. A peach colour then fills the video making the word ‘face’.
Soon after the announcement, ‘Jimin is coming’ started trending on Twitter.

With his band BTS, Jimin released three solo songs - ‘Lie’ in 2016, ‘Serendipity’ in 2017, and ‘Filter’ in 2020. He released his first independent song, ‘Promise’, in 2018 which he co-wrote and co-composed. He also crooned the song ‘With You’ for the Korean drama ‘Our Blues’.

Several BTS members are following their individual projects since 2022. RM and J-Hope have both released their solo albums. Suga will soon be going on a solo tour. Meanwhile, the eldest member of the band Jin is currently carrying out his mandatory military service.
