BTS member Jin, who left for mandatory military service on December 13, has reportedly been promoted. The singer had recently hinted about his promotion to fellow band member J-Hope during a Weverse banter. As soon as the news of Jin’s promotion broke out, BTS ARMY started trending ‘Private First Class Jin’ on Twitter. However, BTS' agency Big Hit has not yet shared any update about Jin's promotion.
A user wrote, ‘Seokjin got his first promotion today he got promoted to Private First Class. Congratulations Seokjin. We love you.’ While another user wrote, ‘Our moon is now promoted to Private First Class. This is making me so so so proud of him. Its feels like yesterday i was crying over him leaving but he never disappoints. I AM SO PROUF Of HIM.... TIGER TRAINER JIN.’
Jin aka Kim Seokjin, the eldest member of popular Korean band BTS, commenced his military service in December 2022. He is the first one from the K-pop group to join the military. J-Hope will be the next band member to enlist in the military.
