BTS ARMY across the globe is waiting with bated breath as the moment of eldest member Jin’s military discharge is almost here. While there have been various reports about the same, BigHit has now released an official statement confirming Jin’s military discharge.
BTS member Jin has completed his mandatory military service and is all set to reunite with his ARMY. Confirming the news, the global K-pop sensation’s agency BigHit Music has released an official statement. The statement read, “We are excited to bring you the news of Jin’s upcoming military discharge. Jin is close to completing his active service in the army and will soon be discharged.”
The agency further requested fans to not visit the site to prevent any overcrowding or security issue. “Please note that the discharge day is reserved for military personnel only. No special events are planned on the day of Jin’s discharge. To prevent any issues arising from overcrowding, fans are strongly advised to refrain from visiting the site. Please convey your warm regards and encouragement in your hearts,” the statement added.
The BTS’ agency also expressed gratitude towards the fans for the constant support and love for the idols. The label said, “We’re always grateful for the unwavering love and support for Jin. Our company will continue to put our utmost effort into supporting artists. Thank you once again for your continued love and support for BTS.”
Meanwhile, several reports emerged online suggesting that the septet will reunite for Jin’s discharge. Reports claimed that all the seven BTS members have applied for leave on Jin’s discharge from the military. Reacting to the news, an official from BigHit Music told Star News, “It’s difficult to confirm the reunion plans.”
Jin, scheduled to discharge on June 12, will hold a fan event as part of the 2024 FESTA on June 13. Some lucky fans will also get to receive a light hug from their favourite idol during the event.
