BTS' Jungkook took fans by surprise as the singer posted his first update in two months. In his message for ARMYs, the 'Golden' crooner talked about the group's leader RM's new album, 'Right Place, Wrong Person'. He also mentioned how much he misses fans. His social media activity has fans believing that the idol, who is currently serving his mandatory military service in the South Korean army, has taken a break from his soldier duties.

Jungkook's first post after two months

The BTS member took to Weverse to share a message for fans on Saturday (June 1).  In the short yet sweet post, the maknae wrote “Joon hyung's album is so good. You did a great job. I can't wait to see the members and ARMY.”

Jungkook's one post was enough to ignite a fan frenzy, as ever since his social media update, 'Kookie is home' has been trending online, with ARMYs going gaga over JK's military break. Some fans, reminiscing good old times, requested the 'Seven' singer to hold a live session.

About Jungkook's military service

Jungkook is currently enlisted in the 5th Infantry Division with fellow BTS members Jimin and Jin. While Jungkook and Jimin will complete their military service in 2025, Jin, the eldest member of the group, is set to finish his service on June 12th, 2024 KST.
