South Korean pop group BTS has made history yet gain as their latest album 'Proof' debuted at number one on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart. They are the first and only Korean artist ever to top the chart with six different albums. BTS’s first album to enter the chart at No. 1 was 'Love Yourself: Tear' in June 2018, followed by 'Love Yourself: Answer,' 'Map of the Soul: Persona,' 'Map of the Soul: 7,' and 'BE.'
The anthology album 'Proof,' comprising old hits, ranks as one of the most popular albums in the United States. 'Proof' has the highest sales week for an album on CD in the US with over 259,000 of the traditional album sales.

BTS recently celebrated ninth anniversary of their debut. ‘Proof’ was released on June 10, just days before the band announced that they are going on an indefinite hiatus to focus on solo projects.
