BTS member Jin is gearing up for his solo comeback with a brand-new album, marking his first release since his military discharge earlier this year.

Reports surfaced on October 14 confirming that Jin's new solo album is set to drop in November. BigHit Music, BTS's agency, shared a statement saying, ‘Jin is currently preparing for a new album with the goal of releasing it in November. Detailed information will be disclosed once it is confirmed.’

Fan Reactions

Fans are buzzing with excitement over the news.

One fan expressed, ‘I can’t wait to hear Jin’s first solo album! Without his whole band (who are busy in Korea for a while), Jin’s talent and artistry will really shine. This is a milestone moment for him and the entire BTS fandom.’ Another commented, ‘November can’t come soon enough!’ A tweet read, ‘Exciting news for Jin fans! His highly anticipated first solo album is coming in November. Can’t wait to see what he brings!’

One fan excitedly declared, ‘November is going to be epic! OHHHHHH THE KING IS COMINGGGG.’ Another chimed in, ‘I really hope this is true! I'm so excited for Jin's first official solo album; I can’t wait any longer—I need it now!’ A third fan exclaimed, ‘OMG! What if it’s a Christmas album…sweet jebus, hold me!!’

Jin's Recent Insights on His Album

Last month, Jin hosted a live session on Weverse, where he shared updates about his upcoming album. He said, ‘What would you guys be curious about? My album work? It’s been a while since I finished recording... The mixing and mastering were completed a few weeks ago too. I’d appreciate it if you could wait a little longer. I could play it now, but wouldn’t it be nicer to wait for the album? Should I play it now? The company would get mad. But the songs are good, so I listen to them from time to time.’

During the session, Jin also mentioned filming for a Netflix variety show, stating, ‘I don’t know how well I did. I was there for about 10 days for filming.’ He was discharged from the South Korean military in June this year.
