A day before the ninth anniversary of BTS, K-pop group member Jungkook surprised fans by releasing a self-written song, titled 'My You,' dedicated to the ARMY. The track, a mix of English and Korean, has been sung by Jungkook himself and co-produced by Hiss Noise.

Jungkook took to Twitter on Sunday to begin the countdown to the song and shared a screenshot of a text message. He has creatively included numerous social media app templates such as Instagram and SMS to communicate the lyrics of the song.

Their previous studio album was 'BE,' which released in 2020. The band released hit singles like 'Dynamite,' 'Butter,' 'Permission to Dance,' and 'My Universe' in the two-year gap between their albums.
