BTS member V, aka Kim Taehyung's photos from his combat training session, have sent ARMY (fans of the boyband) into a meltdown. The now-viral photos shot for a promotional video show the K-pop sensation target practising and handling the firearm skillfully.

The viral image from the promotional video for the 2nd Army Corps in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, shows the BTS member and his fellow troops performing combat activities. Donned in an all-black uniform, V looks sharp as he takes aim at a target away from the camera. Furthermore, his wide-eyed gaze and buffed-up personality have fans going feral on social media.

V's military activities

V passed the exam to join the Special Task Force of the Army Capital Defence Command last year, shortly after completing his training. He's been serving as a special member of the military police unit in the 2nd Army Corps in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. Recently, the 'Sweet Night' singer made waves when he was spotted attending a soccer match with his military friends.

About BTS members

Both V and BTS leader RM began their mandatory military service last year in December. The rest of the members—Suga, Jin, J-hope, Jimin, and Jungkoook—are also in the army. The oldest member of the band, Jin, will return in two months after having completed his term.

Notably, all seven members of BTS are expected to reunite in 2025.
