'Business Proposal' star Kim Min Kyu to begin military service on April 1, agency releases statement

'Business Proposal' star Kim Min Kyu would be enlisting in the military on April 1, confirmed his agency. It also shared that no special event will be held on the day he enlists to ensure smooth entry for all people who will be joining the training centre. 

Kim Min Kyu's military enlistment date announced! 

On March 20, Kim Min Kyu's agency, Companion Company, shared his upcoming enlistment as an active-duty soldier through his official fan cafe. The agency stated, "Actor Kim Min Kyu will commence his military service as an active-duty soldier on April 1. There will be no separate official event held on the day of his entry into the training center. We kindly ask for understanding as the admission will be conducted privately to ensure safety and prevent on-site congestion."

They further expressed, "We deeply appreciate the love and support from fans, and we hope for Kim Min Kyu's faithful fulfilment of his military duties, returning in a more mature and healthy state."

Kim Min Kyu made his debut in the 2013 tvN drama "Monstar'.  Some of his other projects include 'Signal,' 'Because This is My First Life,' 'Perfume,' 'Queen: Love and War,' 'Backstreet Rookie,' and 'Snowdrop'.  His role as Go Food CEO Kang Tae Moo's chief of staff, Cha Sung Hoon, in the 2022 drama 'Business Proposal,' in particular, cemented his position as a true blue K-drama star.
