'Lovely Runner' star Byeon Woo Seok's fan meeting, SUMMER LETTER, took place in Manila, Philippines on Saturday, June 22. As anticipated, fans gathered in flocks to get a glimpse of their favourite star up close. Woo Seok also made sure to offer them the experience of a lifetime as he recreated many iconic scenes from 'Lovely Runner' with fans. At one point, the actor was also seen getting teary-eyed, feeling overwhelmed by fans' love and affection.
Byeon Woo Seok graced the stage during his ongoing fan meetup Summer Letter in Manila, thrilling his loyal admirers, known as Tongtongs. Previous to Manila, the actor had held his maiden fan meet in Seoul. The sold-out event on June 22 at the New Frontier Theatre featured some incredible performances and adorable interactions between the Korean star and his ardent supporters. The clips and pics that have now gone viral from the event prove the actor's growing global dominance following the success of 'Lovely Runner'.
In a surprising turn of events, he also delighted everyone by performing his iconic OST 'Sonagi' or 'Sudden Shower' from 'Lovely Runner'. He also treated the audience to other songs, such as 'Loveholic' and more.
In another entertaining section, he answered the host's teasing inquiries about his stay in Phillippines. When asked about what fruits he ate in the Philippines, Byeon Woo Seok suggested mango, pineapple, and watermelon with a radiant smile. He also cutely added that he had eaten a banana, which he later tried to pronounce according to the host's pronunciation, and decided to try Mango and Banana together later, as she suggested.
In a fun segment, the actor recreated some of the sequences from 'Lovely Runner' where fans pretended to be Im Sol while he channelled his Ryu Sun Jae persona.
After the show, a huge crowd waited for Byeon Woo Seok outdoors. Despite leaving the theatre, he made sure to greet and wave to his followers, expressing his gratitude for their support.
