BTS' Jin has conquered the brand ranking chart for June by instantly shooting to the top following his discharge from the military earlier this month. The singer, who also teased new music recently, is the first member of the wildly popular boyband to complete his mandatory military service.
Jin of BTS has topped the individual idol brand reputation ranking for June. The K-pop superstar grabbed the top spot with a total of 6,270,885 points. The 'Astronaut' singer score saw a sudden jump of 287.04 per cent since last month’s ranking. Following his discharge, Jin has been the talk of the town, emerging as the most buzzworthy idol of the month. Additionally, his free hugs event to mark Festa 2024, BTS' 11th debut anniversary, also became a hot topic in the K-pop community.
Jin, the eldest member of BTS, completed his mandatory South Korean military service on June 12. He enlisted in December 2022. After completing five weeks of basic training, he was assigned to an army unit. During his discharge ceremony, Jin reunited with his fellow BTS members who were also going through their military commitments.
