'Lovely Runner': Byeon Woo Seok-Kim Hye Yoon's drama achieves best viewership ratings ahead of finale

The popular tvN drama 'Lovely Runner' has reached its highest viewership ratings yet, just before its series finale set for Tuesday (May 28). Created by Lee Si Eun, the brain behind the global hit 'True Beauty', the time slip romance saga has been adapted from a beloved web novel 'Tomorrow's Best'. Starring Kim Hye Yoon and Byeon Woo Seok, the drama has seen unprecedented popularity among the K-drama community, emerging as the most buzzworthy drama for the fourth consecutive week. 

New High for 'Lovely Runner' 

According to a Neilson Korea report, the 15th episode of tvN’s Lovely Runner achieved an average nationwide viewership rating of 5.3 percent. This marks a 0.5 per cent growth from the previous episode's 4.8 per cent, achieving an all-time high for the weekday drama. The series debuted on tvN on April 8, 2024, airing every Monday and Tuesday. On Monday, May 28th, the highly anticipated finale is scheduled for release, with fans asking the ultimate question: Will Im Sol (Kim Hye Hoon) be able to save her idol Ryu Sun Jae (Byeon Woo Seok) in every timeline? 

About 'Lovely Runner'

'Lovely Runner' follows the intertwined lives of Ryu Sun Jae, a renowned K-pop star, and Im Sol, his devoted fan. The plot gets thicker when the beloved idol of the popular boyband Eclipse claims his own life, leaving his fans, including Im Sol devastated. Refusing the accept Sun Jae's death, Im Sol tries to get to the bottom of the matter and soon finds herself transported back to their high school days.
