‘My Demon’ heartthrob Song Kang shares buzz cut look with fans ahead of military enlistment

It’s an emotional day for the fans of South Korean star Song Kang as the actor is enlisting in the military for the mandatory service. The K-drama star, however, treated his fans with the latest pictures of himself sporting a buzz-cut look, hours ahead of his enlistment.  

Song Kang shares pics in buzz cut look 

Taking to his Instagram handle, Song Kang shared three pictures showcasing his buzz-cut transformation and bid farewell to his iconic locks. Addressing his fans, the actor wrote in the caption, “Good!! Work hard!!! I will be back!!!”  

Emotional fans took to the comment section to wish their favourite Hallyu star good health. Several fans wrote that they will miss him and asked the actor to take care of himself in the military. Fans also admired his new look and sent him their support.  

Handwritten letter to his fans 

The Hallyu star also expressed gratitude towards his fans in a handwritten letter on Monday, a day before his military enlistment. The actor posted the letter on his official fan cafe and promised to be back soon.  

Song Kang’s military enlistment 

For the unversed, Song Kang is enlisting as an active-duty soldier in the military today. As per his agency’s previous statement, no official events will be held to ensure safety and avoid congestion. Instead, it will be a private event.  

Song Kang’s K-dramas 

The popular actor is known as the ‘Son of Netflix’ as most of his dramas have premiered on the OTT platform. Some of the most popular K-dramas of the actor include ‘Love Alarm’, ‘Nevertheless’, ‘Sweet Home’ series and his recently released ‘My Demon’. Even though the actor will be back after one and a half year, he will be seen in ‘Sweet Home Season 3’ which will premiere later this year.
