Park Hyung Sik opens up about BTS' V's military service, reveals how Wooga Squad comforted him

Actor Park Hyung Sik and BTS' V share a great camaraderie. The South Korean superstars are both part of an inner friend circle called 'Wooga Squad,' which also includes Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik, and Peakboy. The five members share a close-knit bond, extending their unwavering support to each other on personal and professional fronts. In 2022, the group won everyone over when they went on a holiday together for 'In the Soop: Friendcation'. Now, PHS, who currently features in 'Doctor Slump', has opened up about V's military enlistment. 

Park Hyung Sik opens up about V's military service

Park Hyung Sik recently appeared on an episode of 'Salon Drip 2', where he was accompanied by his 'Doctor Slump' co-star Park Shin Hye. During the interview, the ace actor revealed that the Wooga Squad got together before BTS' V enlisted in the military in December last year. They also shared their experiences with the maknae of their group before he embarked on this new journey. Hyung Sik added that each member tried to comfort the 'Rainy Days' singer to ensure that he had it easier than them. "There are military stories that people might not want to hear. My unit is the hardest," the actor said.

Park Hyung Sik had fans going gaga when he made a cameo with his 'Strong Girl Bong Soon' co-star Park Bo Young in 'Strong Girl Nam Soon'. The actor currently features in 'Doctor Slump' with his 'The Heirs' co-star Park Shin Hye. The slice-of-life K-drama centres on the lives of two brilliant doctors who go through a rough patch in life together.
