Son Ye Jin opens up about married life with Hyun Bin, reflects on motherhood: 'Appreciate little things'

'Crash Landing On You' fame Son Ye Jin recently reflected on her married life and motherhood, sharing how it changed her life in beautiful ways. Speaking at the 28th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, Son stated that raising their son Alkong with her husband Hyun Bin has transformed her. The Hallyu star also noted how priorities in life have shifted after the birth of Alkong. 

Son opens up about motherhood

Son Ye Jin said that giving birth to a child and raising him for almost two years taught her to “appreciate the little things in everyday life”. Looking back at her extensive career, the actor added that previously she solely focused on work and it was her whole world and she found it hard to separate herself from it. However, it all turned upside down after she experienced motherhood. She said that now she finds joy in the simplest things, like seeing her son eat well.

Popularly known as the 'BinJin' couple, Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin's love story began on the sets of their wildly popular drama 'Crash Landing on You'. Often deemed straight out of a fairytale romance, their wedding was one star-studded affair attended by many top Hallyu stars. The couple tied the knot in March 2022, and welcomed their son, Alkong, in November 2023.
