‘Descendants of the Sun’ fame South Korean actor Song Joong Ki and his wife Katy Louise Saunders are getting ready to welcome a new member to their family. The couple is expecting their second child together.

Song Joong Ki’s agency HighZium Studio has confirmed that his wife is pregnant with their second child. The agency, however, did not share the due date o In an official statement, the agency said, “Song Joong Ki will become a father to two children. The expected date of birth is part of his private life so it will be difficult to comment on.” 

About Song Joong Ki and his spouse 

The South Korean star is married to British actress Katy Louise Saunders. The couple started dating in 2022 after his divorce with ex-wife Song Hye Kyo and tied the knot on January 30, 2023. The couple welcomed their first baby in June 2023. His wife gave birth to their first child, a baby boy, in Rome. The K-drama star, who has always guarded his personal life, shared a glimpse of his baby boy last year with a note addressing his fans.  

The South Korean actor was married to his ‘Descendants of the Sun’ co-star Song Hye Kyo. The couple got married in 2017 and finalised their divorce in 2019 after two years of marriage.

One of the most popular actors of South Korea, the actor is known for shows like ‘Descendants of the Sun’ and ‘Vincenzo’. He was recently seen in a cameo appearance in ‘Queen of Tears’.
