'Queen of Tears' saw a 'Vincenzo' twist, with Song Joong Ki surprising fans with his unexpected cameo. In the latest episode of the Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won starrer, though he made a brief appearance, Joong Ki's startling presence became the highlight as the ratings skyrocketed like never before. Not only did the drama record its personal best viewership, but it also became the most-watched programme in its time slot across all channels. 

Vincenzo's 'Queen of Tears' cameo 

In his iconic cameo on the eighth episode of the tVN's ongoing weekend K-drama, 'Queen of Tears, Song Joong Ki's Vincenzo Cassano won fans over with his charming presence. Song, who played the role of a lawyer in the critically acclaimed Netflix K-drama, made an epic entry into the lives of Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Haein to handle their divorce case. The videos of the actor from his 'Queen of Tears' cameo have now set social media ablaze, with netizens gushing over this unprecedented move by the makers. Some fans were also elated to see Joong Ki reunite with his 'Descendants of the Sun' and 'Arthdral Chronicles' co-star Kim Ji Won. 

About 'Vincenzo' 

For those who may not be aware, Song Joong Ki played the titular role in 'Vincenzo'. Also starring Jeon Yeo Been, the Netflix K-drama gained worldwide popularity, recording high viewership across all regions. 

Meanwhile, speaking about his cameo in 'Queen of Tears', the actor remarked that he hoped to add strength to the drama with his role and added that he had a ball while filming for the part.
