Marvel Entertainment released the track list for the upcoming film 'Deadpool & Wolverine' on Wednesday. In an exciting update for fans of Stray Kids, a track, titled 'Slash', will be featured in the Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman starrer. The boy group, managed by JYP Entertainment, shares a close-knit bond with Reynolds and recently reunited during Deadpool & Wolverine's Seoul press tour.
Ahead of the release of 'Deadpool & Wolverine', Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have embarked on a global tour, promoting their upcoming film across various parts of the world. For their promotional tour earlier this month, the duo visited Seoul where they also met Stray Kids members Bang Chan and Felix. Ryan had also teased fans that a super fun collaboration is on the cards, and it has now been revealed that Stray Kids will have a song titled 'Slash' in the film. The soundtrack of the film will be released on July 24.
This new collaboration comes years after Ryan Reynolds and Stray Kids first became acquainted following the group's Deadpool-inspired performance on 'Kingdom: Legendary War' in 2021.
Directed by Shawn Levy, 'Deadpool & Wolverine' starts six years after the events of Deadpool 2 (2018). The film also stars Emma Corrin, Matthew MacFayden, Karan Soni, Aaron Stanford, and Jennifer Garner. Produced by Kevin Feige under Marvel Studios, 'Deadpool & Wolverine' is slated to release in cinemas on July 26.
As for K-pop legends Stray Kids, they're excited for the release of their ninth Korean-language EP, 'ATE,' slated to release on July 19. The group's members are Bangchan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. One of the most anticipated lead singles from the EP is "Chk Chk Boom."
